Former President Donald Trump told CBS News in a telephone conversation on Sunday evening that even if President Biden did not face the vote in November, the former president did not believe that what had changed the race that the Vice Chairman faced Kamala Harris, the man's support for Biden Appointment.

"I think it is not better than him," Trump said. “It could be much less efficient, which is unbelievable.”

Trump stressed that Harris is still linked to the policies of the Biden administration, which he said are unpopular with Americans.

"The policies, whether his or hers, will be no different,” Mr. Trump said. "She's the border czar. She's the border czar. She's the worst person ever." Worse than ever. “We have the worst borders ever, so it doesn’t matter.”

Biden announced on social media Sunday afternoon that he would withdraw from the 2024 race, expressing his support for Harris. “It is her intention to win this nomination and win,” Harris said.

This unprecedented announcement comes after weeks of uncertainty in the wake of Biden's disastrous debate with Trump.
Trump called Biden's decision "a shock to our country," but added, "We have a guy who shouldn't be there," so he generally believes it will be "good for the country."

Trump also posted several times on social media on Sunday after Mr. Biden's announcement, writing that "we have had to spend time and money" fighting Mr. Biden and "now we have to start over."

“Shouldn't Republicans be compensated for fraud when everyone around Joe, including his doctors and the lying media, knows he is unable to run or become president?” Trump wrote.

Trump also said he will no longer participate in the debate scheduled for September. Harris has committed to hosting the vice presidential debate on CBS News in August, although the Trump campaign will not do so, saying last week that she did not know who the vice president would be.

A Trump campaign official said on Sunday that the Democratic Party was "chaotic" and the campaign was ready and very quickly in the November elections.
